This year Winder First United Methodist
Church will be hosting the Fifth Annual Faith Fest on October 2,
2010! We have reached over 5,000 people from the community and
outside Barrow County during Faith Fest over the last five
years. Faith Fest is community outreach project that is geared
to give the community a fun free event to attend that is safe
for the entire family and provides a great message. Please
understand that this Festival is not all about Winder First
United Methodist; it is about the Community. Faith Fest is held
on our grounds however, we have prided ourselves in the fact we
are open to all people and all religions to join us for this
event and we hope that this event will become a major event for
the County. This year Faith Fest will expand even further to
become a larger community festival with the addition of our
charitable outreach organization. We have partnered up with
“The Anna Brooke Hurdle Foundation”.
“The
Anna Brooke Hurdle Foundation is a non-profit foundation
established to honor Anna by taking on projects that improved
the lives of others. She loved life and all it had to offer. She
was a humanitarian and she loved all creatures great and small.
It is with that spirit that we carry on her legacy. The
foundation provides humanitarian support to those in need, with
an emphasis on the needs of children both local and abroad;
provides scholarships to local graduating seniors; and supports
local organizations that stand for the welfare of animals. The
foundation works to honor the burden Anna had to defend and
protect those who could not protect themselves. This is where
the need seems the most extraordinary and Anna grew a personal
interest in Africa just before her untimely death. Although the
Foundation hopes to also serve needs locally and regionally, the
launching point of our efforts is focused in Mbabane, Swaziland,
Africa. There, the Foundation has united with like-minded
organizations to carry out this project. In Mbabane we are
currently working with over 270 children daily, providing their
one meal of the day, basic education, weekly medical clinics and
a safe haven for children who live in otherwise compromising
circumstances.”
We
are excited about working with The Anna Brooke Hurdle

This foundation is extremely important to Winder FUMC as Anna
Hurdle was a active member and going through her confirmation at
the time of her passing. We want to help support this
foundation and the partnering with us will do just that. This
year any funds raised above the cost to put on the festival will
go to The Anna Brooke Hurdle Foundation. We have budgeted out
the event and to put on Faith Fest 2010, we are in need of
$15,700.00. This cost includes a stage, sound/light company,
generators, inflatable's, advertising in local media and with
104.7 The Fish radio station, cost of big name bands and other
administrative/festival needs. |

We have two different ways
to be a sponsor this year one is through donation of money.
The second is to sponsor an area at Faith Fest. See below
regarding each type of sponsorship.

Sponsorship (Bronze) will include company names on a board at
the information booth during Faith Fest, and also
Sponsorship (Silver) will include Bronze level plus logo
advertisement on our Faith Fest website (www.faithfest.us)
with a direct link to your company’s website.
Sponsorship (Gold) will include Silver level and above plus
announcements from the main stage of Gold level sponsors
throughout the show recommending support of your business.
Sponsorship (Platinum) will include Gold level and above plus
company’s name will be announced in commercial spots that will
play on 104.7 The Fish the week leading up to Faith Fest. The
Fish have estimated that these commercials will reach well over
3 million listeners during the week. They can only permit three
companies into the commercial therefore the three highest in
this level will be given to the radio station.

Area
Sponsorship will be for one company in each area. This will be
where a business will fund the major costs of the area. The
companies name is included in the name of the area (i.e. ABC
Company Big Stage) Any banners that you have can be placed in
that area to promote your company or ones will be made with your
name on it. (Permission to use your logo would have to be given
to use your logo therefore we try to use your banner should you
have one). You will also have your company name included on our
website for that area as the sponsor. |
